EASE – July 2021
We had a talk with Sabrina Hastings Mela (EASE) who is currently participating in the Communications Task Force of the BRIDGE H2020 initiative representing MUSE GRIDS.
Dear Sabrina, you have recently joined the Task Force “Joint Communications”, within the BRIDGE H2020 initiative. Could you tell us a bit more about this Task Force and its main objective?
The Task Force on Joint Communications from BRIDGE aims to bring together all projects participating in the cluster, with the goal of sharing best practices in communication, dissemination and exploitation of results and helping each other. It also allows to avoid the replication of efforts and facilitates the participation of projects in important energy events around Europe and the world, making the group and the BRIDGE initiative stronger.
Which major activities you plan to perform in the following months?
The Task Force has met at the end of June, where the opportunity to join the Projects Zone of Enlit was presented to the group. MUSE GRIDS is already involved in this major event and is looking forward to participating! In addition to that, the group has agreed to support each other on social media, following each other’s handles and interacting.
In which way a joint communication among H2020 projects could benefit the energy R&I ecosystem?
The European R&I ecosystem for energy projects could benefit a lot from joint communications activities. First, the group can offer mutual support to each other’s activities, in different fields. Second, the BRIDGE initiative represents an important platform for dissemination, where all projects can share their most important updates. Third, projects can avoid the duplication of communication efforts by liaising with each other constantly.
