European Association for Storage of Energy – March 2020
We had a talk with Sabrina Hastings Mela from the European Association for Storage of Energy, responsible for planning and implementing the communication and dissemination activities within MUSE GRIDS.
What have been the updates in your work since last December?
The year has started in full speed for EASE within MUSE GRIDS! In January we have started applying for participation in important dissemination events, in close collaboration with our coordinator. In February we have helped organise a networking event for the BRIDGE initiative, along with partners Glen Dimplex and RINA, which was a success! In March, EASE was invited by the European Commission to attend the India Smart Utility Week in New Delhi to present MUSE GRIDS.
What do you think are the most important results on your work since last December?
The most important results were definitely organising the Networking Event for Bridge and our presence in India. We made ourselves known among other Horizon2020 projects and presented ourselves overseas again, in a country that is very important for the project.
What were the main challenges and how did you overcome them?
The main challenges in these months actually came towards the end of March: due to the recent situation, many events were cancelled in Brussels. This made us reshuffle all our planning for dissemination for the upcoming months until we have a better overview of what will happen. Nevertheless, we were able to participate in the events until we could, and we can easily transfer our activities to social media. By the way, do not forget to follow us on Twitter and LinkedIn for some news during these stay at home times!
