MUSE GRIDS was present at the 2020 edition of the India Smart Utility Week, which took place on 3-7 March in New Delhi, India.
The India Smart Utility Week is a leading International Conference that takes place yearly in New Delhi, India, gathering India’s leading Electricity, Gas and Water Utilities, Policy Makers, Regulators, Investors and world’s Smart Energy Experts and Researchers.
MUSE GRIDS partner EASE – The European Association for Storage of Energy was invited by the European Commission’s EU-India Clean Energy and Climate Partnership to participate in the Conference, presenting MUSE GRIDS at the EU Pavillion. MUSE GRIDS had a booth at the EU Projects Zone, along with other fellow Horizon2020 projects that are part of the BRIDGE initiative and have demonstrations in India.
The event was lively and had active, curious participants from all over the globe who were interested in the innovative mechanisms of EU funding. MUSE GRIDS and the other projects were presented every day of the event, and also got the chance to be showcased to India’s Ministry of Power.
The virtual demonstration of MUSE GRIDS in the Bali Island, in the Sundarbans, has met great interest from the public. Bridging the world of EU-funded projects with demonstrations in India was a good opportunity to make our work in the country known and foster synergies between the EU and India.
