MUSE GRIDS at Sustainable Places 2021 in ROME, ITALY
MUSE GRIDS participated in Sustainable Places 2021, a European fair that focuses on dissemination and research of sustainability-focused projects. This year’s edition took place in a hybrid (digital + in-person) event format, from 28 September to 1 October, with the in-person sessions hosted in Rome, Italy.
MUSE GRIDS participated in the workshop on 28 October along with other EU projects related to European energy communities, focusing on energy community technologies from 11.00 to 12.30.
On 30 October, MUSE GRIDS organised a workshop along with its sister projects COMPILE, MERLON and IELectrix, from 14.30 to 16.00, titled “Energy Communities: how tools can facilitate their enhancement“. The introductory session of the Workshop was composed of presentations by the 4 Consortiums of the overall work and objectives of each and was moderated by Professor Gabriele Comodi (Polytechnic University of the Marche).
The session gave an overview of different tools for the optimisation of local energy networks and how to facilitate the grid interaction, developed and narrated through the eyes of technology leaders representing four H2020 projects. The session also offered a unique opportunity to discuss the different approaches, compare the framework, practices and tools of energy communities.
